For starters, the next Kingscliff Night Market is Friday 1st March … not THIS Friday – but NEXT Friday.
Head to Rowan Robinson Park on our beautiful foreshore from 4:30 to 8:30pm DST. Don’t forget to bring the obligatory friends, family, a blanket or two … and your happy vibes.
Dine from your favourite street food vans, and enjoy the fabulous Leigh James on the Main Stage from 5:00 to 8:00pm who’ll be providing some sublime seaside sounds.

Speaking of ‘chill’ … the Chinderah Chilli Festival is ‘hotting’ up to be huge this year – and it’s on Saturday 2nd March – 12noon to 6:00pm, at the Cudgen Leagues Club.
The festival will be heaving with the hot stuff for the chilli die-hards (and some not so hot – seriously, don’t be scared). Every stall & food truck has to incorporate chilli in some way … even the Chocolate stall!
Last year, this festival raised over $4.5k for our local SES & local scouts. This year, funds raised will be supporting 2 local charities. Also, all the proceeds from your gold coin donations upon entry will go to ‘Buy-a-Bale’. The Chinderah Scouts will once again, be running a fantastic raffle. They raised enough funds last year to help them build a new fence!
Oh – and if you are suffering from a little too much chilli – there will be a licenced bar and beer garden to soothe those scorching mouths! We’ve also heard the Scouts will be selling cups of refreshing, soothing milk for $1000 per cup … (only kidding – or are we?)
All jokes aside (do we have to??), there will be lots of live music, a petting zoo, face-painting, pony rides, candle making, sand art and heaps of other fun and entertaining things for the kids to do – including a free fruit and icy pole competition!
Speaking of competitions … there will be 3 chilli eating competitions for those who like it hot! Who will become this year’s Champion Chilli Chomper!
So bring the whole family for a fun and fiery day out!
